Terms of use for the Cyclope software.
Software license
Cyclope is proprietary software distributed free of charge by Privateer SAS (Copyright 2024–2026). All rights reserved. You are authorised to install and use the application for personal or professional purposes, on as many devices as you wish. Any copying, redistribution, modification, decompilation, reverse engineering or commercial exploitation without prior written agreement is prohibited. Assignment or sub-licensing of rights over the application is also excluded. The application is provided 'as is', without warranty of any kind. This licence is governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Paris courts. Contact: francois@privateer.expert
Business model
Cyclope is free and will remain so. Privateer SAS collects no user data and derives no revenue from the application. Privateer's business model is based on operational security consulting services for businesses.
Third-party licenses
Cyclope incorporates third-party components distributed under their respective licences: • Android — Google ML Kit Face Detection 16.1.7 (bundled): Google ML Kit Terms of Service • iOS · macOS — Apple Vision (VNDetectFaceLandmarksRequest): Apple system framework, included in the OS, subject to Apple's terms • Windows — Pigo 1.4.6: MIT licence (Copyright 2018 Endre Simo) • Linux — GoCV 0.36.0: Apache 2.0 (hybridgroup) · OpenCV: Apache 2.0 All these components run entirely on-device, with no network connection.
